28" length of stunningly beautiful Ethiopian opal gemstone beads hand-knotted in golden silk with a 14k gold-filled circle snap clasp with micro pave diamonds. 14k gold-filled endings and gold starburst pendant with pave diamonds set in sterling silver and 14k gold. Beads measure 2mm - 8mm.
This piece took quite a bit of time with knotting such tiny, delicate beads. Knotting beads always gives your piece a more luxurious aspect, adds value, as well as protection. I love the way it turned out and am really proud of this one. Ethiopian opals of these colors are valuable and this is a true heirloom quality piece that is a one-of-a-kind to treasure a lifetime.
A very lightweight and delicate piece worn best in golden sunlight....
I have it wrapped twice in some of the photos - my neck measures 12.5"- but wearing as a single strand is preferred as these gemstones are too beautiful to not be worn to admire.
