All oysters and scallop shells are washed, sanitized and air dried in the sun. Then they are decoupaged and gilded in metallic gold paint around the edges and sides. Only the turtle oyster has gold paint all over the back. The rest have natural shell on the back. They are then waterproofed and air dried.
The harlequin oyster tassel measures 15" from the top of the gemstone ring to the bottom of the tassel. The coral oyster tassel measures 14". The seahorse oyster tassel measures 18". The turtle oyster tassel measures 14".
