All of these have a mix of gemstone beads, porcelain, wood, clay, ceramic, high-end lampwork custom-made beads, sea glass, African glass beads, vintage acrylic beads, brass, silver, sterling silver, handmade Kashmiri beads. The tassels vary from silk to crystals to rayon to jute. Hairpins for beads are all 24k gold-filled.
Each oyster shell is washed, sanitized and air-dried in the sun. After decoupage pattern is applied, it is dried, then hand-painted with metallic gold paint on the sides and edges, leaving the backs natural shell. Each oyster is then waterproofed and dried again.
